Borrowers Declaration

I/we declare that the statements and particulars in this application are true to the best of my/our knowledge and belief and shall form part of any subsequent agreement. I/we agree that such information may be relied upon by all third parties to whom you approach in the same manner as if such third parties had received the information directly.

Data Protection Act

I/we confirm that I/we have the consent of any third party to disclose such details as necessary to whosoever is necessary including the third parties referred to in the paragraph below to process such details for the purposes of assessing my/our application and administering and enforcing any subsequent advance which may be granted to me/us. I/we understand that the lender may use a credit scoring or other automated decision making system when assessing my/our application.

I/we agree that you shall be entitled to use and process by any other medium, the information given by me/us in this application form and any other information you may acquire during the lifetime of the advance (the Data) for the following purposes:

(i) To provide the Data to search the files of one or more credit reference or fraud prevention agencies whether before or during the lifetime of any advance granted to me/us. You or any third party will keep a record of such search to confirm the Data and for the purposes of credit assessment or account administration. I/we understand that false or inaccurate information given by me/us will be recorded and also where fraud is suspected.

(ii) To disclose the Data to credit reference or fraud prevention agencies when requested by them for consideration of any future applications/proposals for finance or finance related services, motor, household, credit, life and other insurance and insurance claims made by me/us or other members of my/our household or for fraud prevention and/or tracing debtors. The agencies may disclose the Data to other organisations for these purposes.

(iii) To disclose the Data to any other company at any time for the purposes of assessing my/our application and administering and enforcing any subsequent account whether during the course of this application or during the lifetime of any advance granted pursuant to such applications.
(iv) To disclose the Data to any third party who replaces or may replace this current advance as lender.

You or any other organisation may use and search the records of credit reference and fraud agencies to check my/our identity to prevent money laundering unless I/we have furnished you with satisfactory proof of identity.

We may use the Data to send you information about our other products and services or products and services of other selected companies. Please advise us if you do not wish to receive such information.
